The students had so much fun exploring incredible superhero displays, discovering comic book history, and learning that being a real hero is about courage, kindness, integrity, and helping others. ❤️💙

🚒🔥 A BIG THANK YOU to the Michigan City Fire Department! 🔥🚒

Our students had the opportunity to learn important fire safety skills from the incredible firefighters of the Michigan City Fire Department. They enjoyed an engaging presentation, learned how to stay safe in an emergency, and even got an up-close look at a real fire truck!

Experiences like these help make learning meaningful and memorable. We are so grateful to the firefighters who took time out of their day to visit Journey Academy, answer questions, and share their knowledge with our students.

Thank you for your service to our community and for helping keep our students safe and informed!

Please note that this date is different from what is in the INESA Handbook, due to the transition of the ESA program to the Department of Education.
