Michigan City Police Department presented Tina and Burdette (Mrs. Birdie) with a certificate of appreciation today. The two of them served meals all week at the Youth Leadership Academy.

Help us in congratulating them.

We understand that many families are without power due to the storms last night.
Our team will be out running operations as normal to make sure we can feed as many as we safely can.

Today we are offering a new menu item, Cold Protein Boxes. It includes a grain, meat or meat alternate, fruit and/or vegetable and milk.

A meat alternate can be items like string cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, sunflower kernels, fava bean crisps and more. The included items may vary by location.

HUNGRY?

Thursday's breakfast is a choice of mini pancakes or cereal bowl served with fruit and/or juice and milk.

Today we even had some yogurt cups.

It looks like the weather will hold up through lunch time.

Today our director will be riding on the Food Service Bus. Youth age 18 and younger get 1 free lunch. You can ask her questions about school meals and you can see her in one of her favorite character shirts. She may even have free Basil seeds and shoe charms (while supplies last).
