There’s more to high school than the classroom! Our annual Club Fair gave MHS students the opportunity to explore the many clubs, activities, and programs available to them.

From discovering new interests to meeting new people and getting involved, there’s something for everyone! Students can learn more about the clubs that interest them and find opportunities to get connected and get involved at MHS.

💰 Finance Facts: Federal Funding for Ohio Public Schools

Did you know that approximately 10–12% of funding for Ohio public schools comes from the federal government?

Federal education funding is generally targeted and restricted to specific programs rather than being available as general operating dollars.

These funds help support important services such as:
📚 Reading and math intervention
🎓 Special education services
🥗 Student nutrition programs
🌎 Support for English learners
🛠️ Career and technical education

Understanding where school funding comes from — and how those dollars can be used — is an important part of understanding school finance.

Just a reminder that our Early Literacy/Early Numeracy Parent Night is coming up next Tuesday, September 15!

Join us from 6:00–7:00 PM at the Memorial Building to learn more about how we can work together to support your child’s growth as a reader and mathematician.
