Spanish lessons over past subjunctive in the sand 😊
Soy yo con más...stay away from the verb TO GET with emotions in Spanish, so don't use conseguir to express "get mad" / "get sick" / "get depressed". Rather use REFLEXIVE VERBS to express these thoughts:
enfermar(se): to get sick
Me enfermé el sábado: I got sick on Saturday
enojar(se): to get mad
Paula se enojó conmigo: Paula got mad at me
deprimir(se)
Los estudiantes se deprimieron cuando vieron sus calificacones:
the students got (became) depressed cuando when they saw their grades...pero no Uds, ¿verdad que no?

Paul, is by far the best professor to take along on our journey. And hands down the students agree!
Soy yo con otro verbo que puede ser útil:
Parecer: to seem, look like
Parece que va a llover
It looks like it's going to write
Me parece bien
Seems fine to me
No me parece
I don't like the look / sound of that (loose translation)
¿Le parece? (Some asks if you want to study at 4:00 and wants to know what you think) In Mexico where is tú is used a LOT more:
¿Te parece?
ParecerSE (reflexive verb, to look like someone)
Mi hermano y yo nos parecemos
My brother and I look like each other
Sus hijos se parecen
Your children look like each other
Espero que ayude...
