Coconut Grove Ballet

After 26+ years in the business CGB Dance Center will be closing its doors. A combination of events led to this difficult decision. The world wide pandemic forced us to take action sooner than we anticipated.

After more than 30 years of teaching, Ms. Doris has decided to take a step back from the business. After having a baby and over 20years of teaching, Ms Carla will also be taking a step back. This was a labor of love that started in Ms Doris’ living room in 1994 after many requests for private instruction. It has been a privilege to teach all THE students that came through our door.

This has been most fulfilling for both of us, and the decision DID not come lightly. We will continue to keep fond memories of our students.

We will finish video taping Aladdin on Monday and will be sending an email to all participants as soon as the editor finishes putting the show together.

Rest-assured, that we have already sent reimbursements for early registrations and camps.

We thank you for all your support over all the years, and during these difficult times. We encourage and hope all our students continue to practice the art of dance.
