☀️💛🎶 **You Are My Sunshine!** 🎶💛☀️

Our sweet **Class 5** kiddos brightened everyone's day at our October Parent Meeting by singing **“You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine!”** 🌻🥰🎵

🎹💕 A special shout-out and HUGE thank you to our wonderful parent volunteer, **Jara King**, for playing the piano while our little ones sang their hearts out! 🎶💛

🌟 We are so thankful for amazing parents like Jara who share their time and talents with our Head Start family! 🧡🍁

👏🌻 Let's give Jara and our Class 5 superstars a big round of applause! 💛🎶

🍁 A special thank you to our guest speaker, **Stacie Wilson from the Peoria Tribe Home Visiting Program**, for sharing valuable information about **positive parenting strategies** with our families! 🧡

🕷️👻 Our families also had a spook-tacular time creating their very own spiders during our **Spider Make & Take activity!** 🎨🕸️

📚🌟 A Very Special Visitor at Miami Head Start! 🌟📚

We had a very special reader visit us today! Zariah, who attended Miami Head Start when she was 3 and 4 years old, is now in 4th grade and recently earned a spot in the Gifted & Talented Program at her elementary school! 🎉👏 We are so proud of her!

Zariah came back to where her school journey began and read to all of our Head Start classrooms. 📖❤️

The visit was extra special because Mrs. Jenny from Class 6 was one of Zariah’s Head Start teachers! Zariah was so excited to see her former teacher again, and we were able to capture a sweet picture of them together. 🥹💕

It is always wonderful to see our former Head Start students come back and see how much they have grown and accomplished. Way to go, Zariah! Keep shining! 🌟📚

📚❤️ Special Guests at Miami Head Start!

On Friday, we were so happy to welcome Rocky and Paula Barnes to read to our students! Rocky and Paula are both former Center Directors here at Miami Head Start, which made their visit extra special. 🥰

Thank you, Rocky and Paula, for coming back to spend time with our children and sharing the joy of reading with them. We truly appreciate you! 📖✨
