Congratulations to Felipe Diez, CEA Class of 2022, and senior at Belen Jesuit High School!
Felipe began his musical studies at CEA at a young age. Many teachers were a part of his trajectory and helped shape him into the extraordinary musician and human being that he is today:
Ms. Iliana Raymat, in his earliest years and Junior Music Mastery, Norman Milanes, who introduced him to the clarinet and fomented his love of music, Ileana Cortizo, with whom he began his piano studies in eighth grade, Yirka Ledon, whose mentorship and direction in Junior and Senior Music Mastery, brought out his passion, instilled discipline, and gave him the experience of ensemble work, which helped him discover his path through music, and many others who shaped his path along the way.
We are proud to share that this fall, Felipe will continue his studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. We are extremely proud of Felipe and his many accomplishments, and wish him many blessings in this new step in his journey as a musician and in life!
