Looking for an experienced teacher for our Preschool classes. All applicants must be caring, energetic, fun, and dedicated to education and the well-being of the children. Teachers are responsible for providing a safe learning environment for all of the children in their care.

Experience is preferred and applicants must have a minimum of 45 hours of state mandated training through DCF.
At least 2 year experience needed.
Teaching: 1 year (required)

Job Description:

Engage children in activities and play that stimulates their development.
Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times.
Assist children with activities of daily life (restroom use, diapering, hand washing).
Approach parents daily and speak with them about their child(ren).
Create and maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children.
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service.
Plan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children.
Conduct child assessments and facilitate parent-teacher conferences.
Attend and engage in occasional parent participation events and other events that may be on nights.
Prepare weekly lesson plans according to policy.
Be responsible for daily the daily activities pertaining to eating, sleeping, and diaper changing.
Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times

Infants learn about their world by manipulating materials, exploring their environment, and interacting with others.

When children feel cared for, safe, and secure they are better able to interact with others, engage in their world, and learn.

Through imaginative play, children easily ascribe feelings and ideas to these ‘people’ and often use them to express, explore and work out their own ideas, thoughts, and feelings.

Developing reading skills at an early age exposes children to words, ideas and text before entering school. At Champs Brickell we encourage our children to explore books daily!
