Dr. Serafini will be speaking with us tonight, and its a great opportunity to get involved in research and ask questions about different paths in this or any related fields.

U Miami's Microbiology & Immunology Club annually dedicates a week to spreading microbiology awareness: guest speakers, education/introduction to related fields, touring research labs, and fundraising for a chosen non-profit.
The second research presentation of Microbiology Awareness Week (MAW) is tonight!
At 7:40 pm in Memorial 109, Dr. Wasif Khan will be presenting the research he works on in his lab. He will also be able to answer any questions you may have about getting involved in undergraduate research and what sort of opportunities exist in the field.
A free pizza dinner will be served.

Today is the start of our "Talks". Its an awesome opportunity to meet/interact with the doctors and professors of the microbio department and find out about the research that they are performing, especially for those of you considering lab research as an undergrad.

This week, to accompany Microbiology Awareness Week, we will be hosting a KAPLAN course auction! Please click the link below to place your bids.
If you plan to take the MCAT or GRE, this is a great opportunity to get the full KAPLAN resources at a low price. If you know of someone planning to take one of these exams in the next year or two, please let them know about this opportunity.
