Tomorrow, we proudly launch Blueprints to Literacy, a Parent and Child Workshop at the Miami-Dade Public Library System, where engineering comes to life.

What Your Child Will Experience:
• Hands-on engineering and construction activities
• Real-world planning, design, and problem-solving
• Confidence-building through teamwork with their caregiver
• Using tools, measurement, and creativity in action

Children will build their own powered FM radio, a real working creation they make from start to finish.

This is where curiosity grows into confidence, and learning becomes real.

📍 Model City Library, Miami-Dade Public Library

BUILD, READ, GROW TOGETHER!

This is more than a workshop, it is a moment you and your child will remember.
Imagine your child’s face lighting up as they experience real tools.

Imagine them sounding out new words, solving problems, and proudly saying, “I built this!”

At Jump Start Builders, we create hands-on experiences where learning comes alive. Families don’t just sit and watch, they build, explore, and grow together.

WHY FAMILIES LOVE THIS EXPERIENCE
✔️ Stronger Parent-Child Connection
Work side by side, communicate, laugh, and accomplish something real together
✔️ Confidence That Lasts Beyond the Day
Children leave proud, capable, and excited to learn more
✔️ Real-World Learning Made Fun
Reading, vocabulary, math, and problem-solving come to life through building
✔️ A New Way to Experience Literacy
Not worksheets, not screens, this is active, hands-on learning that sticks

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL EXPERIENCE
Your child will:
Use real (age-appropriate) tools to build a project
Learn new vocabulary through guided reading and storytelling
Follow simple blueprints and directions
Solve challenges and think like a builder
Walk away saying, “I can do this!”
