Most regulators keep constant pressure on the second-stage valve seat—even when the regulator is sitting in storage.
Over time, that pressure can create wear on the seat, eventually leading to performance issues and the need for service.

Atomic Aquatics solved this problem with a patented innovation: the Seat Saving Dynamic Or***ce.

Unlike conventional designs, the Atomic or***ce only engages when the regulator is pressurized. Once the system is depressurized, it automatically retracts, removing unnecessary pressure from the valve seat.
