Increasing the number of girls in computer science by inspiring them with the creative possibilities of tech! In 1984, they represented 37%.

Women today represent 18% of all computer science graduates. Instead of improving along with our technologies, the percentage of women in computer science careers is drastically depleting. The misconception that STEM fields do not allow any creative freedom scares away the creative spirit of many women; Code/Art is a community effort to promote the combination of artistic expression and logical programming skills to young girls who have the inner talents to excel in both.
