🍽️ 5 Steps to Teach Children How to Set the Table

1️⃣ Start with the basics
Teach them the essentials first: plate, cup, and utensils.
Don’t overwhelm them—take it step by step.

2️⃣ Explain it visually
Show them where each item goes or use an already-set table as an example.
Children learn best by watching.

3️⃣ Make it fun
Turn it into a game or challenge:
“Who can set the table the fastest and prettiest?” 🎀

4️⃣ Repeat and create routine
Consistency builds habits.
Giving them this responsibility daily helps develop confidence and independence.

5️⃣ Correct with love and patience
Don’t aim for perfection—celebrate the effort.
Learning takes time—and a positive attitude.

La niña que un día soñó… es la mujer que decidió hacerlo realidad.

En un paseo de la escuela, cuando tenía unos 5 años me tomaron esa foto 👉🏼 (desliza) y me preguntaron: que quería ser cuando grande? Sueño con ser modelo! 🤩

Lo que no sabía en ese momento era cuánto ese sueño iba a formarme.

A través del modelaje, aprendí disciplina, presencia, seguridad y la importancia de cómo una mujer se comporta y se proyecta, lecciones que hoy forman parte de lo que enseño.

“La niña detrás de la coach” soñó primero… y luego creció para hacerlo realidad 🫶🏼

🇺🇸 The little girl who once dreamed… is the woman who chose to make it a reality.

On a school trip, when I was about 5 years old, they took that photo 👉🏼 (swipe) and asked me: what do you want to be when you grow up? I dream of becoming a model! 🤩

What I didn’t know at the time was how much that dream would shape me.

Through modeling, I learned discipline, presence, confidence, and the importance of how a woman carries and presents herself—lessons that are now part of what I teach.

“The Little Girl Behind the Coach” dreamed first… and then grew into the woman who made it happen 🫶🏼

And moments like this are where it all begins. 🌸✨

Before the stages, the titles, and the good manners… there was simply a little girl (a very shy little girl) being shaped 🎀

The woman I am today didn’t appear overnight. She was formed in small, everyday moments: at home, school, after-school activities, in friendships, conversations… in the values I was taught and the opportunities I chose to pursue and create for myself.

“The Little Girl Behind the Coach” is still very much a part of me. The lessons I teach today are the ones I’m grateful to have learned along my journey—through modeling, pageantry, media, and now as a teacher.

Lessons that shaped my life… and that I now have the privilege of sharing with you 🫶🏼

🇪🇸 Antes de los escenarios, los títulos y los buenos modales… simplemente había una niña (una niña muy tímida) que estaba siendo formada 🎀

La mujer que soy hoy no apareció de la noche a la mañana. Fue formada en pequeños momentos cotidianos: en casa, en la escuela, en actividades extracurriculares, en amistades, en conversaciones… en los valores que me enseñaron y en las oportunidades que decidí buscar y crear para mí.

“La niña detrás de la coach” sigue siendo una parte muy presente de mí. Las lecciones que hoy enseño son aquellas que agradezco haber aprendido a lo largo de mi camino—en el modelaje, los certámenes, los medios y ahora como maestra.

Lecciones que han dado forma a mi vida… y que hoy tengo el privilegio de compartir contigo 🫶🏼
