You may have noticed the recycling bins around campus. Did you know that there are specific things that can and can’t go into them? This video from our partner Lady Green Recycling Co. will get you started on the path to recycling the right way at DFE!

The Great DFE Crayon Cleanout kicks off March 1st! 🖍💙🖍💙🖍

Did you know that The Crayon Initiative recycles broken crayons into new ones, then donates them to over 240 children’s hospitals nationwide? How AWESOME is that?!

Let’s join them in being a RAINBOW 🌈 in someone else’s day! From MARCH 1-18, DFE PTA will be accepting donations of crayons: broken bits, peeled labels, worn down, off-brand restaurant freebies… THEY’RE ALL WELCOME!✨

Please bring your stash to school starting next Tuesday. There will be designated drop boxes at the main entrance and parkside entrance. Thank you so much! ☺️
