FIU logistics students took on Dallas-Fort Worth! ✈️

Over three days, students in FIU’s Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program and got a behind-the-scenes look at American Airlines Cargo, AIT Worldwide Logistics and DFW Airport, exploring the people, technology and operations that keep global cargo moving.

From facility tours and tarmac views to Texas barbecue and conversations with industry professionals, this trip brought logistics and supply chain education to life in a way the classroom alone cannot. 🌎📦

Students from FIU’s Professional MBA in Sports Management program visited FIFA’s Miami headquarters for an inside look at the planning, strategy and coordination behind one of the world’s largest sporting events.
 
From venue readiness and team services to operations, security, logistics and even the research behind natural grass playing surfaces for stadiums, our students saw how every detail matters when preparing for a global event watched by billions. 🏟️
 
A huge thank you to the FIFA team and everyone who helped facilitate this tour, shared their insights and gave our students a closer look at what it really takes to bring the World Cup to life! 👏

As F1 Miami Grand Prix weekend shifts into high gear, FIU Business students got a front-row look at the logistics behind one of South Florida’s biggest global sporting events! 🏎️🏁
 
Students from our Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program and visited the Hard Rock Stadium area to see what it takes to prepare for F1 Miami.
 
From track setup to large-scale event operations, the experience gave students a closer look at major event logistics in motion. 🌎📦✈️

💡 Use technology with intention, train consistently, and avoid overwhelming teams with too many tools
