Palmetto Middle School = Miami-Dade County Champs 2026. I have been coaching this group since 6th grade. All 8th Graders this year. Spearheaded by Julien Gonzalez, Anthony Thomas, & Nico Arenado (all kids that have played travel ball with me at Miami Hoops). The rest of my team is made up of “TEAM PLAYERS” that defended, rebounded, played hard, executed, & competed all the time. Thank You to All My Parents, that were so supportive. Thank You to Coach Concepcion (our Athletic Director) that helped me with everything. Thank You to Coach Adam (Ant’s Dad), who assisted me all season. Finished 13-1 & won some big games today to claim the 2026 Miami-Dade County Championship. Let’s Go Lancers!!!

Super Proud of Samfree Sarante (6’3 Junior Guard at Palmetto High School) for making FIRST TEAM ALL DADE COUNTY!!! Samfree & JuJu started at Miami Hoops in 3rd Grade. Their Dad has done an AMAZING Job with his boys & they are 2 of the most respectful kids, always thanking the coaches after practices & games. They never bounced around from team to team, always staying loyal & fully committed to Miami Hoops. Even when they started to arrive as basketball players. The goal has always been to get these kids to high school & to see them fly once they get there. Palmetto HS had 3 players make 1st Team All Dade. Congrats to Coach Alex & Coach AJ at Palmetto HS. Great Coaches that have built the program & should dominate in the upcoming years. Miami Hoop Lifers!!!

Great Weekend in Long Beach, CA for the PANGOS All-American Camp. Julien played for the 1st time in 3 months due to his thumb injury / surgery. He competed with some of the top 8th graders in the country. Proud of Julien Gonzalez, Mekhai Hill, & Crispin Delle for battling all weekend long. Let’s Ramp Things Up!!!
