Not all opportunities drive growth the same way.

Some help you explore. Others help you build.

Internships give you a window into what’s possible.
Apprenticeships help you step into industries and grow with them.

Right now, across tech, healthcare, and skilled trades, apprenticeships are fueling real growth and innovation.

When people learn on the job, they don’t just prepare for work.
They become part of what’s building it.

Both paths matter.
But if you’re thinking long-term, that choice matters even more.

Which one are you leaning toward?

One teacher trained = hundreds of students impacted.

When educators build new technical skills, the impact doesn’t stop with them, it scales across classrooms and communities.

Through our Miami-Dade County Public Schools teacher training, educators are learning how to bring the modern web to life for their students.

You don’t need to be a software engineer to start.
You just need the opportunity to learn and the support to bring it back to your classroom.

Thanks to our partners at @‌ctemiami for helping make this work possible.

This is how we build pathways.

👉 Partner with us to expand access to tech education across Miami.

Starting today, we’re officially moving all learning into Virtual Reality.

No more classrooms. No more whiteboards. Just full immersion. 🚀

New rules apply:
👓 Headsets must stay on at all times (yes, even during lunch)
🍔 Virtual cafeteria food only
🚫 No “logging out” during quizzes

Welcome to the future of education… or is it? 👀

April Fools! 😄 (But hey—real conversations about tech in education are happening every day.)

Thanks to our partnership with United Way Miami, we’re working together to build stronger pathways into high-demand careers through Project SECURE: a six-month cybersecurity training and apprenticeship program.

Together, we created a pathway: industry certifications, real-world experience, mentorship, and direct access to tech careers. This is how we expand access, creating more opportunities across our community.

Follow us to watch these group of students grow in cybersecurity!🚀

Meet Tate. 👩🏾‍💻

She's a Program Manager here at Miami EdTech, but her real mission goes a lot deeper than her job title.

Tate works every day with students and early-career professionals who are trying to find their footing in a world that's being reshaped by AI. And she's noticed something: a lot of people know how to use the tools. Far fewer know how to think critically about what those tools are actually telling them.

That's what drives her.

She believes the next generation deserves more than just tech skills they deserve the confidence to question, evaluate, and lead in a world powered by AI. When she’s not doing that she’s making world class cakes and golfing!

Stay tuned — tomorrow we've got something exciting to share. 👀

The day has arrived! Miami EdTech is proud to join Miami-Dade County Public Schools Career and Technical Education in Miami Dade at the MEGA NAF Student Industry Conference hosted by Miami Dade College North Campus.

Nearly 1,500 students from Miami NAF academies across Miami-Dade are coming together to explore career pathways, connect with industry professionals, and discover the skills shaping the future workforce.

Our team will be leading interactive workshops, and our Founder Carlos Vazquez will be sharing insights with educators on how schools can better connect classroom learning with real-world career opportunities.

Moments like this remind us what career-connected learning is all about - helping students see what’s possible and preparing them for the future of work.

Excited for a powerful day of learning, inspiration, and opportunity for Miami’s students. 🚀

Happy 305 Day, Miami 🇺🇸

Beyond the beaches and skyline, something powerful is happening in our classrooms.

Teachers across Miami are learning AI, Python, and emerging technologies so they can prepare students for the opportunities of the digital economy.

Students are building robots, exploring engineering, and discovering real career pathways through internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning.

At Miami EdTech, our mission is simple: expand access to computer science, STEM, and workforce pathways so every student can thrive in the future of work.

Because talent exists in every neighborhood of Miami. Opportunity should too. 😊
