It is with deep sadness to pass along that George Cabrera, former CFO and CEO of ASPIRA of Florida passed away this past Sunday, January 30, 2022. George's pride was in his commitment and leadership to fighting for equitable education for children from underserved communities within Miami-Dade.

Rest in Power George, you were a true Change Agent for many young individuals.

ASPIRA of Florida wishes everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving.

During this time of year when the holiday season begins, it is important that we support our students and families in a multitude of ways. Today, more than 50 turkeys were donated to several of the families that we serve at our three schools. ASPIRA is thankful for the donations given by our board members. Also, we are thankful to our principals and staff as they are a big part of giving back to our communities in North Miami, Leisure City and Overtown/Wynwood. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

At ASPIRA of Florida, we take pride in nurturing every child. In doing so, it is vital we work alongside our parents to make certain their children are in a safe environment and learn about leadership at the onset of their academic start as we are teaching the leaders of tomorrow. Support our parents in their quest to put their children on a pathway toward success.

This is why we strive to do our best! Our students mean the most to us! Mr. Pita, our wonderful Art teacher, oversees the Art Club after school and his creativity is alive and well as our students at Arts DECO learn fashion design!
