Today Chef Maria grabbed what looked like a โ€œpure dark chocolateโ€ barโ€ฆ but when she flipped it over and read the ingredients, the first ingredient was high fructose corn syrup, followed by oils and other additives. Not exactly what you expect from real dark chocolate!

Thatโ€™s why one of the most important habits we teach at The Real Food Academy is simple: always read the labels. The ingredient list tells the real story about what youโ€™re eating.
