The Association for Computing Machinery student chapter at Florida International University, is one of the largest student organizations on campus. We represent the international learned society for computing.
Since 1947, ACM has educated hundreds of thousands of programmers, software engineers, analysts, theorist, and educators in the use of computing technologies. By sponsoring a wide variety of technical conferences, publishing journals and conference proceedings, and providing forums for students and professionals to meet and exchange ideas ACM helps its members reach their career goals.
Whether students have interest in software engineering, multimedia, networking, database management, open source programming, web development, computer graphics, computer programming, animation, operating systems, or any other similar area, ACM’s portfolio of programs have it covered. Aside from a diverse group of programs, ACM also hosts an annual hackathon, MiamiHacks.
