Student Spotlight: 🔦 Congratulations to Cushman High School student Charley Ross for her dedication to ensuring that inclusion, kindness, and meaningful connections are supported in our community.

Through Cushman's Society and Me (SAM) course, Charley was inspired to create One SMILE at a TIME (Supporting Minds, Inclusion, Love, and Empowerment), an organization partnering with Special Olympics to create inclusive spaces and foster genuine connections.

What an experience! 🩷⚽ The Green family's winning gala auction bid turned into an unforgettable day at Inter Miami FC's Nu Stadium with our Athletic Director Pablo Gentile and a group of very lucky Cushman students. Thank you, Jared Green (Class of '92) and family, for making this happen!

At today’s final Cushman School Parents Association (CSPA) meeting of the 2025-26 school year, Marika Pine proudly passed the baton to incoming CSPA President prior to being given the coveted COVA recognition. This award is given annually to an outstanding volunteer who goes above and beyond to support our School.
Thank you Marika and to all our amazing parent volunteers for all you do to benefit our students and our Cushman community.

We are incredibly proud of Ella Brandt, one of our own High School students and founder of Miami Book Bridge, a community initiative dedicated to increasing literacy access in underserved communities across Miami. Through our High School SAM programming, Ella has collected and distributed over 3,000 books, placed free mini libraries in local parks, and partnered with organizations like Camillus House, Miami Bridge, and Kristi House.⁠

She is currently running a book drive at the Miami Shores Community Center through May 30 and is expanding internationally through an upcoming partnership with EEO Bahamas.

Three of our middle school students recently competed in the National English Honor Society Writing Contest and brought home the top honors.
