Miami Country Day School's Comprehensive Outdoor Education Program (COEP) is a non-profit, experiential based outdoor educational program that passionately embraces and incorporates MCDS’s Whole Child philosophy of viewing each and every student from an Intellectual, Emotional, Social, Spiritual, Physical, and Aesthetic quality. COEP is integrated within the academic curriculum at Miami Country Day School, and combines both the traditional academic classroom and the adventure outdoor classroom.

First day trip of the year!!! COEP students enjoyed an exciting day of fishing while discovering how healthy marine life helps sustain Florida’s beautiful oceans. They learned about responsible fishing practices, including how to release fish safely and protect the delicate balance of our coastal ecosystems. ☀️🛥️🎣🐟🐠🦀🦞🦐

Beautiful day out at Oleta River State Park! ☀️🐟🐠🦀🦐 COEP students kayaked around the state park and then did our part pitching in with a beach clean up to celebrate an early Earth day! 🌎

Beautiful day out in Key Biscayne ☀️ with the 5th graders. They were cold but had a fantastic time with the seagrass adventure!! 🐟🐠🐡🪼🦐🦀
