Miami Coral Park Senior High School

Miami Coral Park was founded in 1963 and was intended to serve the suburban Miami area.

The school started out composed of 1 building, now known as the “old building”. As time went on, the school expanded to gain a significant Hispanic population, thanks to events like the Mariel boatlift and Operation Pedro Pan, as well as immigration from other South and Central American countries into the county.
