This is a wonderful organization that provides scholarships to children to play any sport of their choice. Come join us at a North Shore Park in Miami Beach. The information is attached. 

Students at Alpha Charter of Excellence will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a Friendship Dance on Friday, February 13th. The cost is $5 and the last day to pay is Thursday, February 12th. All students and staff are allowed to wear red or pink tops and jeans. Ripped jeans are not allowed.
Los estudiantes de ACE celebrarán el Día de San Valentín con un Baile de la Amistad el viernes 13 de febrero. El costo es de $5 y el último día para pagar es el jueves 12 de febrero. Todos los estudiantes y el personal pueden vestir de rojo o rosa. No se permiten jeans rotos.

Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida starts on Monday, January 26th through Friday, January 30, 2025 and it is designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire students and families to make reading part of their daily routines.

In celebration of this important week, Alpha Charter of Excellence students will be participating in various activities throughout the week.

La Semana de la celebracion de lectura en el estado de la Florida comienza el lunes 26 de enero y finaliza el viernes 30 de enero de 2025. Su objetivo es generar conciencia sobre la importancia de la lectura e inspirar a los estudiantes y las familias a que hagan de la lectura una parte de sus rutinas diarias.

Para celebrar esta importante semana, los estudiantes de Alpha Charter of Excellence participarán en diversas actividades durante la semana.

Winners for December’s project on Justice:

1st place was Matthew Talavera, 5th grade from Ms. Trujillo class and
Jelliams Aguayo Armao, 3rd grade from Ms. Cuadra.

2nd place: Lucas Lorences, 1st grade from Ms. Giron class.

3rd place: Gabriela Ima Orta, 3rd grade from Ms. Marin class.

The Winter Concert will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 17, 2025! A letter was sent home today explaining the dates and times and what the students must wear on this day. Also there will be a $5 charge per student and limit 2 family members per student.

Students in Kindergarten through 2nd grades must wear the following: Boys must wear black pants or jeans, and a red, white, or green shirt. Girls must wear white, red, or green
dresses. Boys and girls should wear Christmas hats.

Students in 3rd to 5th grades must wear the following: Boys and girls must wear blue or black jeans, a red, white, or green T-shirt, and a Christmas hat.

We hope to see everyone there to enjoy this beautiful concert.

¡El Concierto de Invierno se celebrará el miércoles 17 de diciembre de 2025! Hoy se envió una carta a casa explicando la fecha, el horario y la vestimenta que los alumnos deben usar ese día. Habrá un costo de $5 por alumno y un máximo de dos familiares por alumno.

Los alumnos de kínder a segundo grado deben usar lo siguiente: Los niños deben usar pantalones o jeans negros y una camisa roja, blanca o verde. Las niñas deben usar vestidos blancos, rojos o verdes.

Todos los niños deben usar gorros navideños.

Los alumnos de tercero a quinto grado deben usar lo siguiente: Tanto niños como niñas deben usar jeans azules o negros, una camiseta roja, blanca o verde y un gorro navideño.
