New video by Chadi on the early Gracies even though I’m NOT a Fan it must be said I do like the Machados, The Valente Brothers and some of the Gracies; even though they had the advantage in Early UFC you can argue they gave themselves a disadvantage via Royce being the lightest competitor. I Believe ANY HUMAN who steps foot into a combat sport deserves respect! Rener as well even though I don’t like him I STILL trained with him once (The guy is HUGE btw doesn’t look like it from videos but he’s a monster human) Reners attention to detail while he was teaching techniques was very eloquent and inspiring. He also WAS big on safety from what I remember. Ppl nowadays make fun of The Gracie Self defense stuff but they still practiced their Judo throws, weapons and striking. IMO you have to be well rounded if your training for self-defense/MMA. So there you go guys I finally said something nice about the Gracie Family! Im out bye 😜

When you claim to improve a Japanese Art, until you faced an actual grappler from Japan 🤦🏻‍♂️ 🤣 they didn’t even realize that an “Americana” and a “Kimura” are the exact same submission just in reverse. If the Gracies allowed A Gold Medal Judoka or a High Level Catch Wrestler compete in UFC 1 well you catch my drift.

Stole this from Lucky Gunner site and had to share as it accurately describes why I switched to Hammer-Fired DA/SA guns. Safety and I just tend to fire Hammer fired better than Striker and it seems lots of people experience the same.

Where would we be without the Warrior Class? From ancient caveman times until the feudal system and even partly today (more on that later) back then The warrior class was well respected and honored for their bravery and sacrifice everyone knew deep down inside that without their protection from the evils of the world they’d be lost; sometimes even the King (if he was good) or peasants would join the battle willing to die for the people they loved. Nowadays people hate on the protection that they still need calling it ‘Toxic Masculinity’ yet Women were also part of Warrior class either through logistical support or Fighting Themselves! I.e. JOAN of ARC, NAKANO TAKEKO, TOMOE GOZEN, QUEEN BOUDICCA, MATILDA of CANOSSA & ISABELLA of CASTILE just to name a few. As the saying goes nobody appreciates the warrior until the enemy is at the gate.
