Some educators leave an impact that reaches far beyond the classroom, and Mr. Timothy Seay is one of them.

As Mr. Seay celebrates his retirement after 41 years of teaching, Career & Technical Education is proud to recognize his extraordinary commitment to students and education. In honor of his years of service, he was presented with a Miami-Dade County Proclamation by Ms. Sonia Samaroo on behalf of CTE Miami.

Standing alongside him is Miami Central Senior High School Principal Raymond Sands, a proud Rocket alumnus and former student of Mr. Seay. Their shared moment is a powerful reminder that the influence of a dedicated teacher can inspire generations of students to achieve their goals and give back to their community.

Thank you, Mr. Seay, for four decades of dedication, mentorship, and unwavering support of Miami Central students. Your legacy lives on through the countless lives you have touched.

Congratulations to Ryan Rios, a recent graduate of Barbara Goleman Senior High School!
As a 12th-grade student in the school’s Cybersecurity Program, Ryan achieved an incredible milestone by earning his CompTIA Security+ certification before graduation. His accomplishment not only demonstrates his knowledge and dedication to the cybersecurity field, but also qualifies him to receive 3 college credits through Florida’s Gold Standard Career Pathways Articulation Agreement.
With the support of cybersecurity instructor Mr. Gongora and a commitment to excellence, Ryan has already taken an important step toward a successful future in technology.
We are proud to celebrate Ryan’s achievement and wish him continued success as he begins his next chapter!
