Lyric Bass-Baritone JOSE VAZQUEZ (a long time student of PMI's Director Oscar Diaz, Jr.) sings "Se vuol ballare" from Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart. In this aria Figaro, who is the valet to the Count Almaviva, has just found out that the Count has shown Susanna (Figaro's soon bride-to-be) some interesting attentions -and that her room (within the palace) has been located very close to the Count's. Thus challenged, the witty Figaro sings: "If you wish to go dancing, my little Count, go right to it; but I will be the one playing the tune."
Andrea DeVito is the Pianist/Accompanist.
