We are a boutique Montessori preschool located in Midtown Miami / Wynwood Area. Why us? Parents should be as big a parts of a childs education as teachers are.

Mia Piccolo Montessori School was opened with the idea that there needs to be a bridge of communication between parents and teachers. We must nurture our children ...it is one of the most important things we can do. A parents' love and caring determines how a child grows up and how a child will eventually parent. Our teachers will nurture children's positive self-esteem by helping them discover what they are good at doing. Part of a child's self esteem comes from feeling competent and skilled at something they enjoy. By creating opportunities for children to explore different objects, activities, and people ... and nurturing those interests, we can play a big role in helping children to be successful and feel good about themselves. The early years are when children show personality traits and preferences for what they like and dislike. By planning opportunities with children's unique personality styles in mind, we nurture their positive feelings about themselves.

In Montessori, a work mat isn’t just a rug — it’s a child’s personal workspace. Learning to roll and unroll the mat is a lesson in itself, building independence, order, and coordination 🌱.

Once mastered, children use their mat daily to define their space, protect materials, and show respect for others while working with different lessons.
