🎧 Vocabulary isn’t just something students should see…it’s something they need to HEAR.
At Mirror of Languages, we use listening-based strategies to help students connect sound → meaning → vocabulary in the target language. 🧠🌎
In this activity, the student is intentionally receiving two sources of Spanish input: she listens to recorded audio from another source and hears my voice as I guide, reinforce, and interact with her.
Why does that matter? Because real-world language doesn’t come from just one voice. Students need opportunities to hear different voices, rhythms, pronunciation patterns, and speeds while learning to recognize vocabulary without depending on the written word first.
