OPA is a dream come true for a group of families and educators who want to provide a nurturing and educational environment for people with developmental disabilities ages three to adult in the Miami area. The program will provide individualized instruction and will address the unique academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of students. Partnerships with private and public agencies will he

lp facilitate services and provide opportunities for the students and their families. The ultimate goal of the OPA program is to teach students the necessary daily living skills that will allow them to live as independently as possible and fully participate in the life of our local community.

When students, families, teachers, staff, and our entire OPA community come together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. Let’s bring the energy, support one another, and make this our best year yet! 💛

A huge thank you to the KofC, Florida State Council and The American Legion, Department of Florida for standing behind Team Florida as our athletes prepare to compete at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games next month! 💙💛 Support from these great civic partners helps make this incredible journey possible and reminds our athletes that an entire community is cheering them on every step of the way.
