There was a little girl standing next to my son today who broke my heart.

And reminded me exactly why I built my business the way I did.

I just came back from the Mother’s Day celebration at my son’s school.

When I arrived, they were just getting started.
And the moment my son saw me… his eyes lit up.

He started dancing, smiling, fully present in the performance they had been practicing for so long. And this time, I decided to experience it differently.

I didn’t record it. I didn’t watch him through a screen.
I just watched him.
I smiled with him. Danced with him. Stayed fully present in the moment.

But at the same time, I couldn’t stop noticing the little girl standing next to him.
She wasn’t dancing. She looked sad. Quiet. Almost frozen.
Her mom wasn’t there yet.

And instantly… I saw myself.
I remembered being that little girl so many times growing up — hoping my mom would make it to the school activity, the performance, the special moment.
Most of the time, she was working.

That little girl is the reason I stopped negotiating with myself about my schedule.

It’s the reason I built a business with structure — so I never have to choose between a client call and a school performance.

Not just financial freedom. Time freedom. Presence.
The ability to actually be there for the moments that don’t come back.

And no — I know it’s not easy. I know not everyone has the same circumstances or opportunities.

But here’s the beautiful part:
By the end of the performance, her mom made it.
And the moment she arrived… that little girl completely lit up.
You could feel the shift instantly.

Because presence matters.
More than we think.
And today, more than anything, I’m just deeply grateful that I got to be there.

If you’re a mom building a business and quietly wondering if it has to feel this heavy — it doesn’t.

That’s the work I do. 🤍

Most business owners pay themselves like this: “Let’s see how much I can take this month.” 🤷‍♀️
That’s backwards.
The right question is: “How much do I WANT to take?”
And then: “What needs to happen in my business to get there?”
That’s reverse engineering:
decide first, design the business after.

Do you know how much you want to take from your business every month?

Three years ago I sat in that room as a student.
Questioning myself. Wondering if I had what it took to keep going.

Yesterday, I sat on that same panel — as an alumna.

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program brings alumni back intentionally on day one of every cohort.

Because on that first day, every entrepreneur in that room is quietly asking the same thing: Is this worth it? Can I really do this?

The answer isn’t a pep talk. It’s proof.

What I shared wasn’t a success story with a neat bow on it. It was the truth — the roller coaster doesn’t stop. The storms keep coming.
What this program gives you is the foundation and the tools to weather them without losing yourself.

And then yesterday reminded me of something else I had been undervaluing.

I have paid thousands for masterminds and programs chasing exactly what I already had access to — a community of high-caliber entrepreneurs who are still showing up, still connected, still adding value years after the program ends.

Yesterday reminded me not to take that for granted.

And the program? It’s completely free.

💚 If you’re a small business owner and you haven’t applied to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program — this is your sign.

Send me a DM and I’ll share everything you need to know to get started.

I thought I was being present… but I was only physically there.

QuickBooks open.
Excel on the side.
Baby Shark playing on repeat.

My son on my lap…
while I was trying to get work done.

And then I paused.

I looked into his eyes…

And what I felt was:

“Mom, I need you.”

In that moment, I didn’t just see him.

I saw myself.

That little girl…
craving her parents’ attention
while they worked so hard to provide a better future.

And it hit me:

I was repeating a pattern I always said I would break.

That day, I made a decision.

To build a different kind of business.

Not just one that creates financial freedom…
but one that gives me time freedom.

And that’s when I realized…

It wasn’t just about working less
or trying harder to manage my time.

What I needed was integration.

The integration of:

Finances.
Operations.
And conscious leadership.

Because only when those three work together…
you can build a business that actually supports your life.

That was the beginning.

That was the moment the TriArco™ Method was born.

And today, it’s the framework I use to help business owners
build profitable, structured businesses…
without sacrificing what matters most.

“Profit First is done.”

Three words. One huge milestone. 👏🏾

That quick call you just saw? It was a check-in with Peter, a client I’ve been coaching through the implementation of the Profit First System.

When I guide clients through this process, we meet weekly or bi-weekly to support them as they navigate allocation percentages, questions, and the small adjustments that come up along the way.

But today? No questions. No doubts. Just confidence.

Because at this point, the habit is built. ✨

And that’s the real win.

Profit First isn’t about the spreadsheet and bank transfers.

It’s not about the percentages. It’s about building the financial habit that finally makes your business work for you — not the other way around.

I remember Peter’s face at the beginning… and seeing where he is now? That’s the transformation I live for.

Proud of you, Peter. 🙌🏾

If you’re a business owner ready to stop guessing and start building real profit habits, this is exactly the kind of journey I walk clients through every single day.

Comment “PROFIT” or DM me — let’s talk about what your version of this milestone could look like.

April flew by… but it left a lot behind.

Some months feel slow.
This one felt like expansion.

From completing my ceremonial drumming journey with
to diving deep into AI training with and

and actually implementing what I learned using tools like Lovable and Claude…

This month stretched me in new ways.

I showed up at EMERGE Americas,
attended events with the Spain Chamber of Commerce .soy and ,
reconnected with incredible people,
and started a new chapter with the Spring CEO inside the Boardroom community.

I also found new spaces here in Miami —
including a beautiful community of healers that opened a whole new layer of connection for me.

And in between all of that…

time with my family,
with my son,
and meaningful time with my husband —
the moments that ground everything else.

Business. Growth. Technology. Community. Love.

All of it… part of the same journey.

Grateful for April.
Ready for what’s next.

Accounting isn’t just classifying numbers—it’s interpreting them and making decisions with them. 📊🎯

Pricing, margins, offers, business structure… it all connects.
Not every accountant sees it through a strategic lens, but that’s where the real value lives.

Does your accounting give you answers or just reports?

What dream are you postponing… because it feels too risky?

Today, I’m reflecting on what it really means to pursue a dream as an entrepreneur… and as a family.

Because behind every decision, there’s a level of commitment most people don’t see.

Financially.
Energetically.
With your time.
With your resources.

We’ve had to adapt as a family to support his journey.

And today, seeing my husband continue to make progress in his aviation path…
watching his dream become real…

it reminds me that some decisions are bigger than logic.

They require courage.

Because the truth is —
some of the most meaningful results in life…
don’t show up in the short term.

For him, it meant making a bold decision:
closing a profitable business
to completely change careers at an age where many would question it.

And yet… here we are.

So my question for you is:

What dream have you been putting on hold?
What risk do you need to take today… to create a different tomorrow?

Because the life you want
will require a decision most people are not willing to make.

Profit First isn’t a rigid formula—it’s a system that adapts to your goals. 💰📊

Debt repayment account, new hire account, business development account… every business builds its own.

In the end, it’s not about the accounts—it’s about the habit we build together.

What account would your business need today?
