Here’s what to do:

Body image struggles are exhausting because they don’t just show up when you look in the mirror

They follow you into:
👉🏻 getting dressed
👉🏻 taking photos
👉🏻 vacations
👉🏻 beach days
👉🏻 dates
👉🏻 dinners
👉🏻 social events
and random moments that were supposed to just be enjoyable

And what makes it even harder is how NORMAL this can start to feel

Constantly checking
Overanalyzing
Comparing
Thinking about how your body looks before you can fully be present

So many women are not actually living their lives fully because body image is taking up so much mental space

People think binge eating is just about eating a large amount of food.

What they don’t see is the mental exhaustion behind it.

👉🏻 Thinking about food while you’re eating.
👉🏻 Planning your “last healthy day.”
👉🏻 Trying to ignore cravings all day only to feel out of control later.
👉🏻 Feeling guilty after eating something “bad.”
👉🏻 Promising yourself tomorrow will be different.

For a lot of people, binge eating isn’t just happening during the binge.

It’s happening mentally all day long.

And usually, the answer isn’t more discipline.

It’s understanding why your brain feels so stuck around food in the first place.

If food takes up way more space in your brain than you want it to, you’re not alone.

Most women struggling with body image don’t realize they’re living by a set of invisible rules every single day

Rules like:
❌“I can’t wear that until I lose weight”
❌“I need to look good in photos to enjoy myself”
❌“If I feel bad about my body I should eat less tomorrow”
❌“If I were more disciplined I’d finally feel confident”

And the problem is that the more you follow these rules, the more your body image starts controlling your life

👉🏼Your confidence becomes dependent on your weight
👉🏼Your mood changes based on how your body looks that day
👉🏼You stop trusting yourself
👉🏼And your body becomes the center of everything

Body image healing is not learning how to finally love what you see in the mirror every second of the day

It’s learning how to stop letting your body determine your worth, your confidence, your relationships, your food choices, and your life ❤️

You were taught that being “good” meant eating less:�Less calories�Less carbs�Less hunger�Less body
Less weight

So now food and your weight take up way more space in your brain than you want them to

You overthink every meal�You feel guilty after eating�You avoid photos, mirrors, certain clothes, or fully enjoying plans because you’re too aware of your body�You tell yourself you’ll feel confident once you lose the weight�And somehow even after all the effort… you still don’t feel okay enough

Because the problem was never just the food

You grew up in a world that taught women their bodies were projects to constantly fix
�So of course your body image affects your eating!!!
�And of course your eating affects your body image

That cycle is exhausting

You do not need another diet, more discipline, or more shame
�You need to learn how to feel safe around food, stop tying your worth to your body, and build confidence that isn’t dependent on your weight

Body image confidence is not built by finally becoming “small enough”

Because if confidence only comes from your body changing, your confidence will always feel fragile

Real body image work is learning:
✅How to stop tying your worth to your weight
✅How to tolerate being seen without constantly judging yourself
✅How to stop spiraling every time your body changes
✅How to wear the clothes, take the photos, go to the events, and exist in your life now
✅How to speak to yourself with respect instead of punishment
✅How to build an identity outside of what you look like

Most people think confidence is a body size

But confidence is actually a set of skills and getting back to yourself!

And those skills are what finally create freedom around food, your body, and yourself ❤️
