Most people prepare for PM interviews the wrong way.

They’re obsessed with finding the “right answer.”

But after sitting on both sides of the table as a PM Director, here’s the truth:

👉 There is no single “right” answer.

What FAANG interviewers actually look for:
• Structured thinking
• User empathy
• Clear prioritization
• Strong product sense
• Real business impact

The challenge?
These are very hard to evaluate on your own.

That’s why I built my own evaluation frameworks—used by 1,500+ PM candidates to land roles at top companies.

And now, we’ve taken it further.

We built Practicely — an AI PM interviewer that:
✔️ Evaluates you using real PM hiring frameworks
✔️ Gives instant, actionable feedback
✔️ Shows exactly where you’re weak (and how to fix it)

Whether you’re transitioning, leveling up, or aiming for leadership roles—this shows you exactly where you stand.

If you want early access, DM me “Practicely” and I’ll send you the waitlist.

PM interviews are different—but most people still prepare like they’re not.

They practice generic questions…
Memorize answers…
And wonder why they don’t get offers.

So we built something different:

An AI PM Interview Coach trained on real FAANG frameworks—designed to think like a Product Manager.

Here’s what makes it powerful:
✔️ Tailored coaching based on your actual answers
✔️ Track how you improve over time
✔️ Identify patterns in how you think
✔️ Practice product sense, behavioral, and more

This isn’t surface-level feedback.
It’s how top PM candidates actually improve.

If you want early access, comment “AI COACH” or DM me and I’ll send you the waitlist.

A proud moment for our community.

One of our students, Jess, just passed her second-round interview with Meta for an AI Product Manager role.

What made her stand out?

Not another resume bullet.

A real AI product she built called Handy.AI.

She developed it during our AI PM Bootcamp, and it became the proof hiring managers were looking for.

And it’s not just Jess.

Another student, Chauncey, used the same product-building approach and landed a Staff PM role at Tesla.

This highlights something important about today’s AI PM job market:

Hiring managers don’t want theory anymore.
They want proof you can execute.

The strongest candidates can show they know how to:
• Define a clear AI hypothesis
• Build a real AI product
• Demonstrate real product thinking
• Validate with actual users

That’s exactly what we’re breaking down in our upcoming AI Product Management Workshop.

If you want the framework our students used to land interviews at companies like Meta and Tesla, comment “AI PM” or DM me “AI PM” and I’ll send you the details.

Most PMs think they’re “good at writing requirements.”

Then engineers read them and ask:
“So… what exactly do you want?” 😬

Here’s the hard truth👇
High-level business requirements and user stories aren’t enough once you own a real product.

Great PMs know how to write multiple types of requirements so engineers build the right solution—not 10 interpretations of the same sentence.

The 5 core requirement types every PM should know:
1️⃣ Functional — what the system should do
2️⃣ Performance — speed, scale, response time
3️⃣ Usability — how easy it is to use
4️⃣ Supportability — how it’s maintained
5️⃣ Reliability — uptime, failure handling

Most PMs don’t write “bad” requirements.
They write vague ones.

👉 The goal isn’t longer docs
👉 The goal is clear, specific, unambiguous requirements

That’s how real products ship correctly.

Ironically, many PMs struggle to explain this skill on their resume—even though they do it every day.

If you want to turn real PM skills like this into a resume that actually stands out,

💰 How much do Product Managers REALLY make?

I get this question all the time—especially from career switchers.

The honest answer?
👉 It depends… a LOT.

PM salaries range from $80K to $500K+, and most people misunderstand why.

Here’s what actually drives PM pay:
• West Coast PMs often earn ~30% more than East Coast
• Big Tech comp = base + stock (equity matters more than you think)
• Associate PM vs Senior PM pay is a massive gap
• Director & VP roles are heavily stock-driven
• Startup salary vs equity tradeoffs are often misunderstood

Most people only look at base salary.
That’s a mistake.

Total comp, location, seniority, and company performance can completely change your earning potential.

If you’re:
✔️ Exploring PM
✔️ Preparing for an offer
✔️ Wondering if you’re underpaid

Comment SALARY or DM me “PM Salary” and I’ll share the free PM Salary Table I use to help people price themselves correctly.

Knowledge is leverage. Use it.

AI will replace 92 MILLION jobs by 2030…
…but it will also create 170 MILLION new ones. 🤯

Most people only focus on the scary part.
The truth? AI isn’t just eliminating roles — it’s transforming them, fast.

Here’s what’s already happening in 2026:

💡 99% of companies are using AI
💡 Half of employers pay huge premiums for AI skills
💡 80% are actively upskilling their teams
💡 Entry-level hiring is slowing because AI is taking over junior tasks

So what are companies looking for now?

👉 People who can launch AI products
👉 Think strategically
👉 Communicate clearly
👉 Problem-solve at a high level

That’s why becoming an AI Product Manager is one of the most future-proof career moves you can make.

And the best part?
You don’t need an AI background or coding skills to start.

If you want the free workshop that walks you through how to break into AI PM in the next 90 days,

What really stops most people from becoming a Product Manager?

It’s not experience.
It’s not age.
It’s not background.

👉 It’s confidence.

Most people ask the wrong question:
“Can I become a Product Manager?”

The better question is:
“This is a MUST. So how do I make it happen?”

Once you decide it’s a must, everything shifts.

You stop second-guessing yourself.
You start learning what PM actually is.
You identify your transferable skills.
You move forward—one step at a time.

We’ve seen this firsthand:
• Someone who never imagined becoming a Meta PM — and did
• A Business Analyst, 6 months pregnant — who transitioned into PM in 2 months

A new year doesn’t change your life.
A decision does.

If 2026 is the year you break into Product Management,
make it a must — not a maybe.

Comment “PM” or DM me “PORTFOLIO” and I’ll send you the free masterclass details.

What can you really earn as a Director of Product? 💸
Let’s break it down.

🌉 West Coast (Big Tech)
Strong base pay — but equity does the heavy lifting. At senior levels, stock performance can push total compensation into the $400K range.

🗽 East Coast (Growth Tech)
Lower base on average, but bonuses and stock can make up a big portion of total pay — especially at the director level.

Here’s the key shift when you reach Director:
• Base salary is solid
• Equity + bonuses drive most of your income
• Your team’s performance directly impacts your pay

If you want to plan your compensation strategy for 2026 and avoid leaving money on the table, DM me or drop a comment and I’ll send you my end-of-year salary planning framework.

12/16/2025

Did you know a manager-level salary can range anywhere from $80K to $500K? 😳

That gap isn’t luck — it comes down to a few key factors:

📍 Location
West Coast roles often pay significantly more due to cost of living and talent competition.

🏢 Company type
Big tech roles usually include equity, which can dramatically increase total compensation over time.

📈 Level & experience
An entry-level manager and a senior leader may have the same title — but wildly different pay.

The biggest mistake? Only looking at base salary.
Total compensation (bonus + equity) is what really matters.

If you want to know what salary range you should be aiming for based on your experience, DM me or drop a comment and I’ll send you the details.
