What has Evolve Voice Studio been up to? 🎶

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break. I want to update you all on what I’ve been doing these past few months, and what to expect from now on! ✨

Since August, I have been working hard on my Student Teaching Internship, which required most of my time! I had an amazing experience teaching over 170 students, creating and delivering fun and unique curriculums and lessons - in music, of course! 🎼

Now that it is over, I am working at an elementary school and am available for private lessons! Audition season is upon us, and if you are interested in working on building your repertoire, feel free to book an appointment now on www.evolvevoicestudio.com or DM me! ✨

Today was our last day for our “Sight Singing for Musical Theatre - Intermediate Course”! 😭What a bittersweet day it was. I had an amazing group of kids, most of them I had for 10 weeks now from my Beginners Course, and they have learned so much. 🎶 I am happy to send them off knowing they will be more confident facing their future music theory classes in high school, or being able to follow along in music rehearsals, or be even more prepared for auditions/callbacks. We also had so much fun working together and dressing up for different themes every week! I’m going to miss this group! Thank you all for your support, especially the parents! You guys rock for supporting your talented kids. I hope to see you all soon. Stay safe! 💕🎶

Summer is FINALLY here! 😎 And I am bringing back my highly requested “Sight Singing for Musical Theatre” course in 2 forms: Beginner’s Course and Intermediate Course.

This a 5-week course where students can learn how to read music so they can nail their next audition or callback! An original class and curriculum designed by us, to make sure students understand the fundamentals of sight singing. Material that will be covering are:
rhythm patterns, solfege, ear-training, scales and keys, aural dictation, and more.

This course is catered to Musical Theater students, so upon completion of this course, they will be able to sight read new material from any musical scores.

WE DID IT! ✨Today was the last day of Sight Singing for Musical Theatre! 🎭 🎶
What a blast this class was! I taught a group of 13 students and we learned the fundamentals of music theory and to sight sing a variety of musical theatre songs! I am so proud of everyone’s progress, and will miss teaching this class!
