πΊπΈ USA Sh*tokai in Yokohama, Japan! π―π΅
As we reflect on our time at the 11th Sh*toryu Karatedo International Championships in Yokohama, we are grateful to everyone who made this journey possible.
Representing the United States alongside Sh*toryu practitioners from around the world was a true honor. Competing in Japan, the homeland of Karatedo, made this experience especially meaningful for our athletes, coaches, and families. π₯π―π΅
More than 90 members of our USA Sh*tokai family traveled to Yokohama, coming together not only for competition, but also to experience Japanese culture, traditions, and hospitality.
We are proud of our 22 athletes, who stepped onto the international stage with courage, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. They represented USA Sh*tokai and the United States with pride, and we are excited to return home with 9 medals! πΊπΈ
Our sincere thanks to the World Sh*toryu Karate Federation, organizing committee, referees, and volunteers for their dedication in bringing this championship together.
To our coaches, families, teammates, and supportersβthank you for the time, preparation, encouragement, and support that allowed our athletes to reach this stage. π
We return home with new experiences, friendships, and memories, along with greater motivation to continue learning and growing in Karatedo.
