You reached out and we listened! With the feedback of school still being in session through the beginning of June, we’ve chosen to revise the plan for Miami Clarinet Institute!

We will now hold two sessions, one betweeb June 21-25 and the second August 2-6. Each will be Monday through Friday from 2 to 4 pm EST via Zoom. We’ll still being covering core fundamentals, equipment, and reeds alongside masterclasses in core repertoire (June), and orchestral excerpts (August).

Each session is $200 for the week separately OR $350 if you choose to register for both. Email [email protected] to get your registration process started or if you have any further questions!

This summer session is reformatted and will occur during the month of June 2021 rather than spread across June, July, and August.

There will be TWO sessions per week throughout the entire month with each week focusing on a specific fundamental skill. Along with masterclasses on the fundamental, there will also be masterclasses on core repertoire and orchestral excerpts that highlight the skill of the week.

Meet our second professor 💫 Dr. Lee Seidner received his doctorate in clarinet performance from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in the spring of 2019. Dr. Seidner’s playing has been described by the South Florida Classical Review as, “beautifully articulated,” in addition to providing, “a rich palette of sounds with admirable breath control and elegant phrasing.” As a member of the Nu Deco Ensemble and Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, he has performed alongside artists such as Ben Folds, Estelle, John Secada, Michael Feinstein, Angelique Kidjo, Cimafunk, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Larkin Poe, & Bruce Hornsby. He has also performed with the Florida Grand Opera, New York Cantors Chamber Orchestra, & New River Valley Symphony. Outside of the classical music world, Dr. Seidner is very passionate about fitness and you can find him as "CyclePro Lee" where he is a founding lead instructor at the Coral Gables location of Rukus Cycling Studios 🎶✨
