In FFK, Bopomofo isn’t something to memorize, it’s something to discover. Each symbol has a sound, a story, and a spark! We don’t sit still and drill. What do we do then? We laugh, play, and wonder our way through ㄅㄆㄇㄈ ... until it clicks🤩

From our little one, R 👧🏻

When R first joined us last Fall, she was brand-new to Bopomofo —starting from zero! Fast forward 12 months… she read fluently, write sentences in Chinese characters and Bopomofo, and even get creative (and a little silly 😆) with her homework.

Moments like this are why we love what we do! Watching our kids grow into confident, curious, bilingual readers who can express themselves in languages💛

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to introduce my home, Taiwan, to the kids during AAPI Heritage Month. It’s such a privilege to show them a glimpse of the other side of the world, my home country, and share a piece of it with them.

Watching their curiosity and excitement grow as they discover something so new and beautiful—our traditional pastries, holidays, outfits, music, and language. That really fills my heart! Moments like this make teaching so special! 💖

A big thank you to for making this possible. Being able to bring a little piece of to life for these kids is such an amazing experience, and I can’t wait for more adventures like this! 🌟
