We tell our kids all the time: “YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS.” But guess what?? So can WE. I was so anxious about going to Disney (the crowds, the lines, the junk, overstimulation); I didn’t know if I could handle it. But I did it because I knew deep down our family was ready for the adventure/challenge & we had the BEST time. Kids did so much better than I thought. Total troopers. So, yes, YOU can your or & I can help.

When one of your fav clients shares something w/u that’s spot on 😝💤😮💨 Toddlers, am I right?! The age range for dropping naps is big (3-5YO)! Most 3YO however still need a nap, even if it’s less than 1 hour or only occurs every other day. When nap time starts making bedtime past 8-830pm, that’s when you know it’s time to shorten the nap, or say gbye to it 😢. Quiet time in the room is still encouraged!!! So try your best to make that thing ☺️

I ❤️ being able to guide & support my clients as they implement their new sleep plans. I always wanted to be a cheerleader 😝 my favorite part is when they’re genuinely surprised by their children’s natural ability to self-soothe. I tell them they’ve been waiting for this— they just need us to step back and have the confidence to let them do it. ❤️ my job

TWINS 💤 I ❤️ twins & from a sleep consultant POV, they can be even easier to get on the right sleep schedule because their parents are SUPER committed and guess what? They have each other! They’re never alone! What a special bond ❤️💙

Remember, these are averages*. If your LO’s daytime sleep doesn’t cause difficulty falling asleep @ bedtime and/or night wakings or early risings — no need to cut it down. If it ain’t broke… naptimebyage

YES break the “rules” sometimes, especially when traveling 🧭My 5.5YO & 2.5YO wanted to share a bed while on vacation and I said YES! Then around 5am my little one asked me to get in and I said YES again. @ home she sleeps in a crib but it’s OK to let go a bit on vacation if it works best for your family. Missed naps, later bedtimes, different sleeping arrangements are often part of traveling with young kids and it won’t “mess” them up. Just get back to the basics once you’re home. My other piece of advice for traveling with kids of napping ages is to try and schedule flights and car rides during nap time. And of course don’t forget their security objects like loveys, blankets etc. That’s all folks! Enjoy the last licks of summers sleep 😴 😴😴

I wasn’t feeling Mother’s Day this year. TBH I was so mentally & physically exhausted all day, all I wanted to do was be alone, away from my kids and the endless barrage of “mom, mommy, mama.” This week was tough — my parents left; help I was counting on called in sick & I had to have a misplaced IUD removed (no walk in the park let me tell you); aaaaand terrible two’s have hit us hard. But still, I got up, I showed up & these 2 silly monkeys didn’t care that I wasn’t fully “on” — they just wanted me,with all my imperfections bcuz I am the perfect mother for MY children. Sending so much love to all the hardworking mamas out there & my own grandmothers, mom, mother in law, sisters & friends ❤️

The proof is in the texts 😴😴 Not all offer text support in real time, but it’s something I offer bcuz it’s what I wanted and needed as a mom. My most popular packages come w/either 1 or 2 weeks of unlimited text support. This mom of a 10MO had a really rough first night of & said she would’ve given up if it weren’t for my words of encouragement. My night two this little lady had made HUGE improvements and by night 3 she slept 7-7 w/zero wake ups and was taking solo naps of over 1 hour. I ❤️ my job.
