Despite being an avid reader, I was surprised of what I learned about “the change” in the last few months. If you are 40+ woman (or love one), you’ll be interested…

Keep getting into the energy of “I CAN DO THIS.”
Do you have a goal, big or small, that is just not taking shape?
You don’t seem to be taking action, or you are, but it’s just not working. You tried planning, starting, pushing, but nothing seems to last.
And you’re getting frustrated or keep distracting yourself to not think about it?
Yeah, I know the feeling too.
If you’re willing to try something different and engage your “right-brain” powers, get into the energy of “I can do this” as soon as possible.
This is what I mean:
* If you want to start exercising. Instead of planning (and ditching) a one hour yoga class, go for a 5-10 min walk and feel how it feels to move your body.
* If you want to start a podcast, instead of concentrating on the technical aspects, start recording mini audios on your phone and for now, just keep them to yourself. Listen to them and feel how it feels to have done it.
* If you want to have more money, look around and feel gratitude for the abundance you already have. Feel how it feels to be already abundant.
* If you want to find love, look for an aspect of your life where you’re criticizing yourself and choose to be kinder and less judgmental. Feel how it feels to practice self-love.
The energy of “I CAN DO IT” uses our Yin or feminine energy.
We are well-versed at the Yang/masculine approach: “just do it, try harder, don’t give up, strategize better, no pain no gain,” etc.
Yang/masculine has its place.
But in order to live in balance, we must also use our Yin/feminine abilities.
And those are not normally sponsored by our culture.
So be counterculture.
Ask yourself:
“How do I get in the ENERGY of “I can do this?”
Try it!

Where in your life are you being a perfectionist?
(Perfectionism is insidious and presents itself as virtue. I have to be in alert 🚨 to catch it 😉.)
Is it with your body? Not thin, toned, young-looking, energetic, or attractive enough?
Is it in approaching a new task?
Not consistent, progressing quickly, or doing it right enough?
Is it in your social image? Not lively, popular, wise, or interesting enough?
Is it as a parent? Not firm, friendly, smart, cool, hard-worker, or understanding enough?
What would happen if you let go a little bit? Just a little bit.
What would happen if you give yourself credit by acknowledging you’re doing ENOUGH?
Bring on the imperfection!!

You can eat “right” (gluten free, intermittent fasting, organic, keto, take vitamins, etc), but if you haven’t taken care of responses to everyone and everything in your life (if you’re living in fear, perfectionism, rigidity), your cells read it as DANGER.
Then you can’t sleep, can’t restore, can’t digest.
Your blood sends adrenaline (liquid energy) to the muscles but you’re not fighting or running. It turns into a maladaptive state.
Imbalance becomes the new balance and you’re heading for ILLNESS.
You’re then fighting with your body.
Feed your mind well.

A common hurdle in self-growth, health, and plain happiness , is our inability to accept things as they are. (Guilty!🙋🏻♀️)
We’re constantly fighting with reality.
We tell ourselves that if we accept us where we are, we’ll become complacent.
But nothing is further from the truth.
Let’s break the myth that being ruthless with ourselves is good and productive.
Kindness, compassion and self-trust is a far better way. 💕✨🌻
