Happy National Doctors’ Day!

Two years ago today, MD for Kids stepped into the spotlight with a live, televised interview on Good Day LA for National Doctors’ Day.

What started as a simple desire to share our love for medicine with children slowly became so much bigger than we could have ever imagined.

2025 was the BEST year of our lives!

From start to finish, this year was filled with moments we’ll never forget. After dating for seven years, we finally got married and rang in our 30s! Building our lives together as husband and wife has been the greatest joy of all.

This was also the year Brandon graduated from ophthalmology residency and started his dream job in Palm Beach. Meanwhile, Betty finished her first year of dermatology residency at the University of Miami.

Together, launched our first Airbnb in Miami, purchased our first commercial property, landed our first influencer collabs, and watched MD for Kids break records. We also hosted our very first book fair, created our first outreach chapter, and released our first ever card game, Mindful Connections for Kids!

More than the milestones, 2025 reminded us how blessed we are. We’re endlessly grateful for our families, friends, mentors, and everyone who supported us through the long nights, big risks, and joyful celebrations.

Here’s to the best year yet, and to everything still ahead. 🥂✨

People often think medicine is all about knowledge. But the more we grow in this field, the more we see that what truly matters is the ability to connect with someone in their most vulnerable moments and understand their suffering.

We created Empathy for Kids to help children understand feelings and grow into adults who listen deeply and treat others with the highest level of kindness and respect.

We can’t wait for you to read it! 💛
