The riskiest thing you can do is take no risks at all.
Now when it comes to dropshipping, I believe that’s the core difference between those who succeed and those who watch others succeed.
Those who watch others tend to stick in their comfort zone, they have backup plans, and they prefer to grow slowly.
However, with most successful entrepreneurs I know, they had no backup option, their back was constantly against the wall and they have no other option but to succeed.
That cruel reality is what made them successful, because it’s only when you go all in that you truly begin to see unparalleled growth.
It’s just impossible to build a successful brand If you treat this business model like a hobby.
So if you’re a beginner, ask yourself, what are you willing to sacrifice to become successful?
Because this business can only reach its potential if you dedicate as much time possible to it, which may force you to sacrifice other hobbies in your life.
You will also have to be comfortable with taking responsibility for everything: wrong hires, bad months, supplier issues, ad performance, etc.
Which is why for some people, its much easier to be a role player who just has to focus on one job.
I know I’ve thought about it, especially during those stressful months were you are constantly dealing with problem after problem.
A role in a winning business shouldn’t be demonized especially if you’re learning valuable skills while maintaining a solid work-life balance.
I believe 90% of beginners in this space are really better suited to become a role player that can help a successful team become more successful.
However, there will always be those who want to go all in and take a shot at dropshipping.
So ask yourself, can you stay motivated even when you’re losing money and things aren’t working out?
If so, then entrepreneurship might just be for you…but the next step… is to learn the skills that will make you make money attracted to you and not vice versa.
