MY MIL TOOK AWAY ALL THE CHRISTMAS GIFTS SHE GAVE MY KIDS.

I'm a mom of three little rascals. For Christmas, their grandma Darlene, gave them some awesome gifts like a new LEGO set, a princess castle playset, etc. The kids were over the moon, playing with toys and rocking those stylish clothes she got them.

But just 2 days later, she shows up at our doorstep, gripping three large empty bags. Her face was bright red, and she looked ready to explode.

"Darlene, hi!" I said. "What's going on?"

She didn't say a word. She just marched right past me into the living room, where the kids were now playing.

She packed everything she gifted the kids, to the tiniest detail, even the clothes that was in the washing and took it all back.

"You'll regret what you did." she muttered coldly, zipping the bags shut with finality.

It turned out the reason for her madness was our Christmas gift for her. ⬇️

So, I pulled up to the house, and there, on the front lawn were my things, scattered all over. Standing nearby, smiling like he'd won the lottery, was my husband... with his girlfriend.

At that point, I already knew my marriage was hanging by a thread. Just the day before, I caught him cheating.

HUSBAND: "I don't think I need to remind you, but this house belongs to my grandfather, and you have no claim to it. You're out. Get your stuff and leave. Now."

I tried to keep a blank face, holding back the sting of it all. I started gathering my things and loaded them into my car.

Just as I was about to grab the last box, a black SUV pulled up, and suddenly, the smirk vanished from my husband's face. ⬇️

ME: Yeah, I have a connection to catch, and I'm already running late.

FA: Well, the pilot wants to speak with you after we land.

ME: The pilot? Why? Can't he just tell me now?

FA: I'm afraid not. He wants to tell you in person. I know you're in a hurry, but trust me, you'll want to hear this. You'll regret it if you don't.

When we landed, I stayed in my seat, waiting for this mysterious pilot to appear. As he finally walked into the cabin, I literally dropped my bag and jacket. Yesterday, my husband and I were invited to our friend's birthday party with no kids allowed. Honestly, I was happy about it.

I love my kids, I really do, but for 5 YEARS I had no help since my in-laws passed away and my parents lived in another state. But now that they've moved to our town, I finally have some free time. My kids are SO active and wild that I could barely find time for the toilet when they were little.

So, we dropped the kids off and returned after 6 hours. When I saw them, I couldn't believe it... calm and smiley. I had NEVER seen them like this. WHAT did my parents do?

Then, suddenly, my youngest, Max, came up, took my hand, and whispered, "Mommy, please NEVER leave us here again..."

Me: "What? Why?" I asked, kneeling to his level.
Simon: "He means, don't leave us here for such a SHORT time"
Me: "What did you do with Grands?"

And the more he told me, the more I couldn't believe what I was hearing as ⬇️
