Professional Development matters!

Being an early childhood educator is much more than “cute”. We are prepared professionals with skills founded in science, research, observation, inner work, practice, and knowledge.

At Roots we are proud to stay up to date in early childhood best practice, to continue to get inspired, and reflect on how to better show up for children’s best interests.

We had a great time at the American Montessori Event in Washington, and we look forward to sponsoring more learning for our teachers!

Spring vibes at Roots!!!!

Feeling melancholic of the dear students that will soon embark on their new journey, savoring each day until summer. We know that someway we will be eternally connected by an invisible thread of energy.

Excited for a second and third year with some other students! Deepening community, connection, and relationships!

And beyond eager to get to know all the new students and families joining us in August!

Eternal cycles… Eternal growth…. Eternal change… 🌀

During this time of year, a huge nostalgia starts to take over as I reflect on the school year and the children that will soon move on to their “big schools” or next adventures. I can’t help but dwell and cherish all the students whose time with us is coming to an end.

Each child leaves a mark — on every teacher, every peer, and on the heart and energy of our school as a whole. We are cherishing their last months with us, and we know that in some way we will always be connected by an invisible thread of love.
