The life of a fighter is like this:
You first step into the ring or onto the tatami.
You will lose most of your early fights, both in the gym and in competition.
You will learn a lot about yourself in the process.
You will start to learn to adjust, and will develop aptitude and resilience.
You will start to become more effective, and will win more frequently in competition.
You'll start to appreciate your wins more for what they are, and will begin seeking defeat.
Because in defeat, the real lessons lie.
And your skills don't keep you at the top forever.
This approach filters into all aspects of your life.
Your personal relationships improve.
You become present with those around you.
You'll take more calculated risks in life, and will begin to reap the benefits.
When things don't go your way, or you face adversity, you'll have resilience to endure.
The opportunity to transform your mind and body is within your reach. And you have greater control over your life than you think.
Take action.
Get into the ring of life.
