Today We Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

On this beautiful feast day, our CAVA family is invited to pause from the busyness of our day, turn our hearts to Mary, and pray the Holy Rosary for the needs of God’s people throughout the world.

Whether we pray together as a family, with friends, or quietly on our own, each Hail Mary is an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus through His Blessed Mother and to lift up those who are in need of peace, healing, hope, and faith.

As Blessed Fulton J. Sheen reminds us:

“If you wish to convert anyone to the fullness of the knowledge of Our Lord and of His Mystical Body, then teach him the Rosary. One of two things will happen. Either he will stop saying the Rosary — or he will get the gift of faith.”

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
May we especially pray today for peace in our families, our communities, and throughout the world.

Let Peace Begin—with prayer.

Virtual learning is about more than completing assignments—it’s about LEARNING, growing, and building habits that will help you succeed!

At CAVA, we want every Navigator to have a positive and successful learning experience. That starts with being intentional about how you use your time and approach your courses.

🔹Create a schedule and stay organized.
🔹Take your time with each lesson—don’t rush just to get it done.
🔹Work ahead whenever you can instead of waiting for a deadline.
🔹Ask questions when you need help.
🔹Communicate clearly with your teachers and give them time to respond.
🔹Most importantly, focus on understanding what you are learning, not simply checking another assignment off your list.

Virtual learning gives you flexibility, but it also gives you the opportunity to develop independence, responsibility, and time-management skills that will serve you far beyond the classroom.

And families, you’re an important part of the journey too! Encourage your student to build good routines, celebrate their progress, and reach out for support when they need it.

At CAVA, our teachers are here to guide you, encourage you, and help you succeed. Use your time wisely, stay curious, communicate, and make every lesson count.

We Will Find a Way!💙❤️🧡🩵

A New Chapter. The Same Extraordinary Mission!

At St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy, every new beginning is an opportunity to serve students and families in even greater ways.

Today, we celebrate an incredible leader and welcome two outstanding educators to our leadership team!

Congratulations to Dr. Jaclyn Don Cáceres! After serving as CAVA's phenomenal Vice Principal and helping shape our school into the innovative Catholic learning community it is today, Dr. Don Cáceres has accepted the role of Associate Superintendent for Innovation and Equitable Access for the Archdiocese of Miami. We are grateful for her leadership and wish her every blessing as she continues making a difference for students and families throughout our community.

We are also thrilled to welcome two exceptional leaders who have been part of the CAVA family since the very beginning.

Mr. Luis Mayo joins our leadership team as Vice Principal, and Mrs. Hedda Falcon as our Director of Student Services.

With more than 20 years of experience in Catholic education, both have faithfully served as CAVA teachers since our inception, helping build the vibrant community we know today. Their dedication to academic excellence and student success has earned each of them the prestigious Cervantes Excellence in Education Teacher of the Year Award.

Together with our incredible Principal, Dr. Rebeca Bautista, this leadership team will continue advancing CAVA's mission of providing innovative, faith-filled, student-centered Catholic education to learners wherever they are.

The future of CAVA is brighter than ever, and we can't wait to see what God has in store.
