Today is an exciting day at St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy — our Fall Term courses are officially OPEN! 💻✨

Dr. Stout Swanson and Mr. Bonet, two of our amazing CAVA Theology teachers, join our entire faculty, staff, and administration in welcoming all of our new and returning students to another incredible year of learning, growing, and navigating their futures with faith. 

Whether you're joining us for one course or learning with CAVA full-time, we're so excited to have you as part of our community!

And it's NOT too late to join us!

Enrollment is still OPEN, and CAVA offers rolling enrollment and start dates. Students don't all have to begin on the same day. Courses will become available to each student individually once their enrollment and course selections have been approved.

A New Chapter. The Same Extraordinary Mission!

At St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy, every new beginning is an opportunity to serve students and families in even greater ways.

Today, we celebrate an incredible leader and welcome two outstanding educators to our leadership team!

Congratulations to Dr. Jaclyn Don Cáceres! After serving as CAVA's phenomenal Vice Principal and helping shape our school into the innovative Catholic learning community it is today, Dr. Don Cáceres has accepted the role of Associate Superintendent for Innovation and Equitable Access for the Archdiocese of Miami. We are grateful for her leadership and wish her every blessing as she continues making a difference for students and families throughout our community.

We are also thrilled to welcome two exceptional leaders who have been part of the CAVA family since the very beginning.

Mr. Luis Mayo joins our leadership team as Vice Principal, and Mrs. Hedda Falcon as our Director of Student Services.

With more than 20 years of experience in Catholic education, both have faithfully served as CAVA teachers since our inception, helping build the vibrant community we know today. Their dedication to academic excellence and student success has earned each of them the prestigious Cervantes Excellence in Education Teacher of the Year Award.

Together with our incredible Principal, Dr. Rebeca Bautista, this leadership team will continue advancing CAVA's mission of providing innovative, faith-filled, student-centered Catholic education to learners wherever they are.

The future of CAVA is brighter than ever, and we can't wait to see what God has in store.

Happy Fourth of July Weekend from St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy!

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day weekend, we give thanks to God for the blessings of freedom, faith, and the opportunity to serve one another with love.

This year is especially meaningful as our nation begins celebrating the USA's 250th anniversary, a milestone that invites us to reflect on the courage, hope, and perseverance that have shaped our country's history. As we look to the future, may we continue to be people of faith, integrity, and compassion, working together to build stronger communities and inspire the next generation.

Today, St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸✨

On this Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude for the heroes who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we cherish each day. Their courage, sacrifice, and selfless love remind us of the true meaning of service.

As a faith-filled community, we also lift up in prayer the families of our fallen heroes and all those who continue to serve our nation. 🙏

May we never forget the cost of freedom and may we always strive to live with gratitude, compassion, and unity.

Come, Holy Spirit 🔥🕊️

Today, St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy celebrates Pentecost Sunday — the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, filling their hearts with courage, wisdom, and faith.

Just as the apostles were transformed and sent out to share God’s love with the world, may we also open our hearts to the Spirit’s guidance in our daily lives, our learning, and our community. 

May the fire of the Holy Spirit inspire our CAVA families to live with joy, lead with faith, and shine Christ’s light wherever they go.

“After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.” Acts 1:9

Today, St. Carlo Acutis Virtual Academy celebrates the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, a powerful reminder that Christ reigns in glory and calls each of us to keep our eyes fixed on Heaven.

As Jesus ascended to the Father, He entrusted His disciples, and all of us, with the mission to live boldly in faith, share His love, and be a light in the world.

May this holy day renew our hope, strengthen our faith, and inspire our CAVA community to walk ever closer with Christ.
