Join Dr. David Williams as we explore together a wide variety of medications that affect s*xual functioning. This elective will look at substances, both prescribed and not, that play a role in s*xual functioning along with medication effects on hormone levels. We will then look at medications that can be used to enhance and aid in s*xual functioning.

Dr. Williams started his training at Grove City College where he obtained a Bachelors in Music Education. He taught music for 6 years in a partial hospital setting. During that time, he obtained an Associates degree in Nursing from Community College of Allegheny County. After obtaining his Nursing license, he worked in an emergency department. While practicing emergency nursing, he obtained a Bachelors in Nursing from Waynesburg University, and then completed a Masters in Nursing Education from Chatham University. He has taught nursing part time for University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University, and Community College of Allegheny County. Dr. Williams then went on to complete a second Masters in Nursing along with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Robert Morris University. He is dually licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. Currently, he is practicing at UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics and Pressley Ridge Family Counseling Center managing medical and psychiatric needs of children and adolescents. Dr. Williams is a graduate of the S*x Therapy Training Institute (STTI), Board Certified in Clinical S*xology, and is on the faculty of the International Institute of Clinical S*xology and STTI.

Intimate relationships can be defined as a relationship where the couple is physically and emotionally involved. You can be married, s*xual partners, in a polyamorous relationship, etc. The one thing in common for all these relationships is our need for intimacy. Intimacy can take on many forms. We will be discussing physical and emotional intimacy. It’s that need to feel connected to another person. However, the likelihood of divorce in the United States is 42-45 %. So are we lacking that connection we yearn for and how can we get it back?
Let’s explore and take a journey into the 5 senses (See, Hear, Smell, Taste and Touch) and how they can Enhance Intimacy and Passion in our relationship.

What are some of the best life tips?
Don't get addicted to p**n, smoking, alcohol, internet or s*x.
Do not hide anything from your doctor, he is not your father, he will not scold you.
S*x lasts on average 20 minutes, do not ruin your life because of this.
Smile frequently, 30 seconds every 30 minutes, this will increase your productivity and mental energy.
Don't fall into debt. Pay all your bills early before they become a headache.
Give thanks for the food you were given at someone else's house.
Never wait for the perfect moment to do something, do what's on your mind right now and learn how to do it better as time goes on.
Make your bed as soon as you get up.
Throw away the things you no longer use, or even better, donate them. Also start getting rid of all the clothes you haven't worn in the last 3 months.
Find a hobby that you like too much.
Have a list of all the good things about you, read it daily when you wake up.
Exercise at least 30 minutes after getting up in the morning.
Do not sit in one position for more than 1 hour doing a task, get up and distract yourself for about 5 minutes.
Stop using your cell phone for so long!!
Your mental health is more important than anything else. Prioritize yourself.
Never give up on your dreams. Learn to finish everything you started and one day you will see the results.
Learn to remove all toxic, fake people and purposeless relationships from your life.
Enjoy the achievements you have obtained so far in your life.
Listen to music and dance
Never expect the approval of other people, what matters is how you feel.
Work hard and discover the world, you never know what awaits you tomorrow.
Don't spend your hard-earned money on expensive things.
Improve your communication skills, they are quite useful.
What goes around comes around, karma is real.
