✂✨ Talk about a major level-up. We just cut the ribbon on a fully renovated medical lab at Hialeah Gardens Senior High School. 🩺🥼

This transformation was made possible by a $50,000 grant from the NextEra Energy Foundation (the corporate foundation of NextEra Energy & FPL). They’ve completely upgraded the school’s Health Science program, giving Dr. Maruis Baluja’s students the real-world tools and hands-on training they need to ignite their dream careers in healthcare. 💉

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us—including Hialeah Gardens High students and teachers, The Education Fund President Linda Lecht, School Board Member Roberto Alonso, North Region Superintendent Dr. Yesenia Aponte, North Region Administrative Director Stephen Papp, our Assistant Superintendent, Division of Academics, and Jasmine Govan and Christopher Ferreira from FPL.

Miami-Dade County Residents: Share Your Voice to Inform Local Decisions

You know Miami-Dade County better than anyone – what’s working, and what needs to improve? Tell us in a 15‑minute survey that will help community organizations and local decision-makers invest where it matters most.

📝 Take the survey here:
🔗CommunityWellbeingSurvey.norc.org

📊 Why participate? Communities rarely get direct input from residents about their experiences, making it difficult to know where investment is most needed. Your input will help residents, community organizations and local leaders understand what makes Miami-Dade County a great place to live and what challenges need more attention.

🤝 Our commitment to Miami-Dade County: For decades, Knight Foundation has invested in Miami-Dade County. As part of this ongoing effort, we are proud to partner with Knight Foundation to ensure that resident voices help shape the future of our community.

⏳ Act now. This study may close early once we have received the maximum number of responses, so please respond today!

✅ The survey is legitimate. The survey is being conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago. NORC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research organization with decades of experience conducting high-quality surveys. Your responses are anonymous and confidential.
