From stick figures to creative storytelling!

Our students started with simple sketches and storyboards, then brought their ideas into ChatGPT, incorporating an image of Mr. Fernandez and directing what they wanted him to say.

This is a great example of how AI can be used as a creative tool in education, helping students transform their ideas into visual concepts for a commercial. The creativity, vision, and storytelling started with our students—AI simply helped bring their imagination to life!

Cake pickup is next week at Miami Lakes Educational Center! Please review your assigned pickup day and time so orders can be distributed as smoothly as possible.

Seniors & Juniors: Monday, October 12, 2:00–4:30 p.m.
Sophomores & Freshmen: Wednesday, October 14, during lunch and 2:00–4:00 p.m.
All Grades Make-Up Day: Thursday, October 15, during lunch.

Lunch pickup is best for students with 5 or fewer cakes. Orders of 6 or more will be boxed, and after-school pickup is highly recommended.

Today, we welcomed the Hispanic Heritage Club as a guest speaker to discuss the importance of Latin activism and culture. We also stepped into the fashion industry for our activity, where members designed their own outfits inspired by a culture of their choosing!

Today’s meeting was all about celebrating culture, creativity, and the voices that help shape our communities.
