Florida Memorial University Founders' Day was very motivating! Science Club members were inspired!

We also know how to have some fun! We hosted a bean boozled challenge and had a movie night!

Dr. J. Racquel Collins, the assistant dean at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, recruiting students for a uniquely designed graduate program that allows high-achieving students with research experience to complete their PhD in 5 years.

Mrs. Anike Sakariyawo, a representative of the S. E. E. K. Foundation, informed us about potential future partnering projects to educate children within the community and make them excited about learning science.

Mrs. Nissa Askins came to recruit students from the Science Club for the 2019 ReTOOL Program at University of Florida.

We had the opportunity to attend the FIU McNair Scholars Research Conference, where we were able to network through the graduate school fair. Two of our co-presidents, Alyssa Gosling and Linedia Masson, were able to present our research posters.

Our Cultural Midnight Munchies was a success and it was all due to the wonderful team that we had volunteering! We celebrated our diversity and embraced our different cultures!

Once a Florida Memorial University student, now a Medical Doctor! Dr. Dejon Maloney informed us, the science club, future medical and nursing students, about his experience through medical school!
We gained so much information, and we had fun doing it!
