Anatomy: where the human body becomes the ultimate study guide! šŸ©ŗ Our EMT Academy students are diving into the different planes and organ systems that make up the human bodyā€”and discovering that thereā€™s a LOT more to us than meets the eye! From learning whatā€™s where to understanding how it all works together, this is just one of the many stepping stones preparing our future healthcare heroes for whatā€™s ahead. šŸš‘

Learning sustainability, one fish at a time! Today in AP Environmental Science, our Spartans dove into the Tragedy of the Commons through a hands-on fishery simulation. Students took on the challenge of harvesting from a shared resource while tracking how their choices impacted the fish population over time. By analyzing harvesting rates and testing different management strategies, they explored the real-world challenge of balancing individual interests with the health of our shared environmentā€”and discovering what it takes to make resource use truly sustainable. Turns out, there really can be too much of a good catch! šŸŽ£šŸ˜‰

This summer, Ashley earned college credit through Harvard Summer School while studying Social Medicine and Social Change and serving communities in Mattapan and Cambridge. Her passion for medicine, service, and creating change continues to shineā€”and now, sheā€™s taking the next step through a Harvard Medical School research program!
